The website went live today February 22, 2013. The address is j-tradeafrica.org.
The group brings together journalists from the continent who will report on trade matters, share information and disseminate the same to their readers and viewers in their respective countries.
Formed by a resolution at the Second Africa Trade Forum, organised by the Africa Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, September 2012, the network?s objective is to promote the trade and development agenda across the continent.
The website according to Interim President of the network, Mr. Emmanuel K. Dogbevi of Ghana, will serve as the platform for sharing information on trade and development issue on the continent as well as promoting the integration of the continent.
